I've always left Bryce's haircuts to the pros. Well, until last week anyway. In an effort to save some money I figured we could do it ourselves. We decided to go short, since it's about to get super hot down here in the valley. I figure we'll let it grow back out in the winter (we LOVE his longer locks). I'm not crazy about it, but it saved $20 bucks! Maybe we'll get better at it the more we do it...

What do you think? Anyone have any tips???

he looks so grown up! It's cute! No tips here as I don't cut the boys hair. Dave does his own..and I take Riley to an actual barber shop..they only charge me 8.00 to cut his hair. Great job Dori!
He's so cute! I do my boys' hair. I just put on a guard thingy on the trimmers and cut it all the same length. With Sean (since he'll sit still a bit better than Matthew) I take the guard off and carefully go around his ears. They both have a swirl on the tops of their head that I usually miss a spot on, and a few days later I grab the long spot and cut it off. Eventually I want to keep the top part of Sean's hair longer, but I'm not sure how I'll do it. Good luck! I hate spending money on hair cuts. I do Jon's too. It seems a little wrong that our dog gets professional hair cuts though. Hmm....
Ha ha! That does seem wrong, but hey at least you are saving money!
By the way, I don't really have a blog.. I started that page a long time ago to post pictures of Bryce, but don't really use it.
We are both very happy to have a new Great Granddaughter on the way.
